About Sarah Olivieri
Sarah received her BA from the University of Chicago with a focus on globalization and its effect on marginalized cultures, studying in Spain, Tanzania, and Cuba, and finally moving to Japan to teach English. In 2009 she completed a master’s degree in Humanistic and Multicultural Education at SUNY New Paltz
Sarah brings over 16 years of experience working in and leading nonprofit organizations to PivotGround. She also has over 13 years of experience working on the web. Sarah says her top experiences include co-founding the Open Center for Autism in 2005 with Valerie Paradiz, serving as the deputy director of the Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership (GRASP), and working as the executive director of the Helping Children of War Foundation. She is also a published author. Sarah co-wrote Lesson Planning a la Carte: Integrated Planning for Students with Special Needs (AAPC Publishing).
Sarah is also the founder of the Digital Impact Method™ – a more effective method for helping nonprofits create a written, comprehensive digital strategy and support them in executing it for at least 12 months.
At PivotGround, Sarah leads her team of digital experts on a mission to help clients increase capacity, deliver better programming, attract more funding, and hopefully make the world a little better.
