To stay competitive in this current age with retaining and recruiting talent, many nonprofit organizations are trying out the 4-Day Workweek.
In fact, Sean Kosofsky of Mind the Gap Consulting, implemented the 4-Day Workweek when he was the Executive Director of a national climate justice nonprofit organization.
The nonprofit first started with not scheduling meetings or deadlines on Friday. Then they implemented a 90-day pilot program that gave all employees Fridays off. What happened was that employees were retained and felt more energetic and rested.
